Well we are into the second half of 2020 and parts of the country are starting to open for business. However, a quick glance at the news will tell you that we are not free and clear of the ever present pandemic that 2020 has provided us. But as always, Business Travel Gadgets is here for you with our Best Travel Sanitizing Tips, Tools and Suggestions. We have also revised our Business Travel Planning and Business Travel Preparation sections to include COVID-19 Precautions.

We value your safety and recommend that you review the Center for Disease Control’s Travel Recommendation Page.  As a quick refresher, we will summarize a few of the more common sfety precautions that most health organizations recommend:

Wash/Sanitize your hands:

Social Distancing: We are sure you have heard this term by now… Social Distancing suggest that you should maintain 6 feet (2 meters) of distance between you and others as much as possible.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth: This has been a real challenge for me.  I had no idea how many times I touch my face, but I was shocked by the struggle I’ve endured while trying to stop.

Limit contact with frequently touched surfaces, such as handrails, elevator buttons and kiosks. If you must touch these surfaces, use hand sanitizer or wash your hands afterward.
Wear a cloth face mask.

Avoid contact with anyone who is sick
Cover coughs and sneezes.

If soap and water aren’t available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub your hands together until they feel dry.
